Petopentia Natalensis, commonly named "Propeller Vine" is Native to the Province of KwaZulu-Natal in Eastern South Africa.  This Rare and Unique plant has a Vining growth Habit and Exhibits Rapid Growth.  The Stems have a "Winged" shape and the Flowers resemble Small Chocolate colored Propellers.  These plants can grow a very Large Caudex over time that can be raised out of the soil for a Beautiful Display reaching a Diameter or 15".  The Vines can reach lengths of 50ft.

Magical Properties:

Integration of Shadow and Light: The Plant is used by practitioners to help individuals integrate their "shadow self." The Hidden Purple Underside of the Leaf represents the Subconscious or the Mystical, which is only Revealed when the Leaf is Turned or the Wind Blows, suggesting that Spiritual Truths are often Hidden just beneath the surface.

Resilience and Adaptation: As a Succulent that can Survive Periods of Drought by Storing Water in its Corky Base, its Vibrational Essence is Prescribed for those undergoing "Spiritual Droughts" or Periods of Emotional Scarcity, Teaching the Soul how to Store Internal Resources for Difficult Times.

Protection of the Home: In some Folk Traditions, the Vine is Grown Near Entrances. It is believed that the Reflective, Glossy Surface of the Leaves "Deflects" the "Evil Eye" or Envious Gazes, while the Purple Undersides Absorb the Negative Vibrations before they can enter the Home.

The Planetary Correspondence of Petopentia Natalensis: Mercury
